Sound Design has always been an important part of my wrIting process. In the late 90’s, during Quake 3 Arena’s music writing process, I began to what would become a cult classic now, Noize Loops (1999)
— a sample library that Sound On Sound described as “gut-wrenching, brutal drum loops… like recording someone attacking the BBC Radiophonic Workshop with a chainsaw and a drum kit.” Not subtle. Not safe. But unforgettable.

From its processed drum chaos to the drones and atmospheres that rounded out the collection, Noize Loops set the tone for what came next: unapologetically raw, aggressively creative tools built from my own production workflow.

The Sample Vault brings these releases together — including Future Riot Drums (2025) and other rare packs — and makes them available again, digitally, directly from my studio. This archive is a home for the sounds that shaped my early career, and the place where new experimental libraries will drop first. If you want pristine realism, you won’t find it here. If you want character, grit, and creative ammunition, welcome to the Vault.
