Metal Eden: Corrupted Memory Edition
Part soundtrack. Part artist manifesto. Sonic Mayhem — known for shaping the sounds of Deus Ex, Quake, The Division, Mass Effect, Tron, and The Long Dark — unleashes an expanded, raw, cinematic, techno-punk record from and inspired by the world of FPS Metal Eden videogame by Reikon games.
A spiritual sequel to his 2015 album Doomsday, this release expands beyond the game with exclusive bonus material incl. New track “Exodus” & remixes/Re-constructions from electronic heavyweights like Power Glove, Gunship and Benjamin Howell.
Including a limited Digipak (CD) with custom Glitched visuals by Rob Sheridan (NIN, Pearl Jam).
Available now on Bandcamp.
The Digital edition comes with the high quality music files of your choice (Aif, wav). Set for release in 2026 there will also be a Producers edition (like with Doomsday) that will come with Stems and drum sounds used on the record. Release date TBA.
As a fan of physical media - the digipak format is my favorite. Metal Eden Corrupted Memory edition features a 4 panel layout with custom glitched art by Rob Sheridan (NIN) with design and art by Sascha himself.
the conc3pt being, clinical clean on the outside, once you upon it up, the corruption takes over and the disk features a ‘core’ like design as it was in metal eden with the cores carrying the human consciousness. Underneath the disk is real glitched code with a easter egg or two.
